Job Summary

Maintain accurate inventory in SAP system

Responsibilities

  • Receive Material into SAP through appropriate transactions, assuring accuracy and verifying material received against Purchase Order for accuracy of certifications, packing lists, lot numbers, etc… 
  • Consume component material used in production from SAP system using appropriate transactions based on Production Planner's forecast. 
  • Adjust inventory in SAP as appropriate to reconcile with physical inventory records 
  • Make inter-plant material movements for certain material types and verify interplant material movements for all moves, checking lot numbers, part numbers, storage locations, etc… for accuracy 
  • Manage shelf life material by querying inventory and moving expired items into a blocked status to prevent use. Also move other non-conforming material into blocked status as appropriate. 
  • Research inventory issues, both physical and in SAP, using good judgment and best practices; Conduct physical inventories for receiving areas periodically; 

KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Thorough knowledge of Inventory and Inventory Transactions
  • Understanding of Automated Inventory System (SAP)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good communication skills
  • Good analytical skills

Compensation and Benefits

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the wage range for this role is $47,280 - $70,920. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree (AA) or two years of related experience Required
  • Previous related work experience Preferred
