Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Supervises technical operations and ensures compliance with NDT procedures and standards, maintaining the quality and efficiency of the facility and its personnel. 40%
- Interprets codes, standards, and contractual documents to ensure NDT methods are compliant and consistently applied, resulting in accurate and reliable inspection outcomes. 20%
- Selects appropriate methods and techniques for inspecting ammunition items, ensuring compliance with radiographic and other NDT procedures, and verifies their adequacy to maintain quality and safety standards. 10%
- Primary interface for customers, auditors, and other facility Visitors to ensure operational requirements and compliance standards are met. 10%
- Approves NDT procedures and NDT-related work instructions for technical adequacy, ensuring compliance. 10%
- Ensures effective training, examination, and certification of personnel conducting radiographic and other NDT inspections, maintaining compliance With industry standards and enhancing team competency. 10%

- Regularly exercises initiative, discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties.
- Effective oral and written communication skills; Computer Literacy.
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
- Ability to interpret codes, standards and other contractual documents that control assigned job responsibilities
- Ability to conduct or direct training and examination of personnel in the method certified
Minimum Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- 7+ years of NDT radiography experience. Required
- 1+ years of previous Supervisory experience Preferred
