Job Summary
The Sr. Recruiter role at Embedded Resource Group is a strategic and vital position responsible for driving the recruitment efforts primarily for Yoh within the Specialty Practices - IT & E division. This role requires a results-driven professional who will execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to ensure that leadership roles and key individual contributor positions are filled promptly to meet business objectives. The successful candidate will play an integral role in workforce planning, providing expert advice on sourcing strategies, screening methods, and offer package structuring to attract top talent. This position demands a proactive approach to building a diverse pipeline of highly qualified candidates through innovative sourcing, research, and networking efforts. Partnering closely with hiring managers and HR leadership, the Sr. Recruiter will also contribute to enhancing the overall candidate and manager experience, positioning Yoh and Day & Zimmermann as premier employers within the industry. Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Pipeline Development: Drive the recruitment lifecycle for key leadership and critical individual contributor roles by executing a variety of sourcing techniques, including headhunting, referrals, competitive market intelligence, LinkedIn, and social media channels, to proactively identify and engage a diverse pool of candidates. Continuously expand sourcing networks and maintain a robust leadership pipeline database to meet current and future hiring demands. (Approx. 30% of role)
- Candidate Screening and Interview Facilitation: Lead comprehensive behavioral-based interviews, preferably utilizing methodologies such as Loninger’s technique, to rigorously assess candidates’ qualifications and cultural fit before presenting recommendations to hiring managers. Collaborate with hiring teams to ensure a smooth and structured interview process that enhances decision-making quality. (Approx. 20%)
- Stakeholder Partnership & Strategic Alignment: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders including leadership teams, hiring managers, HR business partners, and corporate compensation teams. Gain a deep understanding of business strategies, site-specific culture, compensation frameworks, talent management practices, succession planning, and approval workflows to align recruitment efforts effectively with organizational goals. (Approx. 20%)
- Applicant Tracking System Management & Documentation: Ensure accuracy and timeliness in maintaining requisitions, candidate records, and interaction logs within the ATS. Uphold meticulous documentation standards to support transparent recruitment processes and metrics reporting. (Approx. 20%)
- Employer Branding & Candidate Experience: Serve as a dynamic brand ambassador for Yoh and Day & Zimmermann by enhancing their reputations at industry events, job fairs, and through digital platforms. Champion an engaging and professional candidate experience to position the companies as employers of choice. (Approx. 10%)

- Comprehensive Recruiting Expertise: Proven ability to manage internal recruiting efforts across all organizational levels, from entry to executive leadership, demonstrating adaptability and strategic sourcing creativity.
- High Volume Communication Skills: Comfortable and effective in handling a high volume of phone interactions, typically between 50-75 calls per day, to connect with potential candidates and internal stakeholders professionally and efficiently.
- Advanced Sourcing Techniques: Skillful in leveraging innovative and diverse sourcing methods, including headhunting, networking, social media, and referral programs, to identify passive and active talent pools.
- Relationship Building & Credibility: Ability to quickly establish trust-based, collaborative relationships with hiring managers, HR partners, and candidates, fostering an environment of teamwork and transparency.
- Business Acumen & Communication: Strong understanding of business operations, enabling meaningful dialogue with business unit leaders, hiring managers, and job seekers to align recruitment strategies with organizational priorities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Sciences, or a related field is required to provide a solid foundation for analytical and communication skills essential to this role.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years of combined experience in agency recruiting and internal talent acquisition, with demonstrated success supporting business unit functions and managing recruitment projects end-to-end.
- Recruitment Systems Proficiency: Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies is essential for effective candidate and requisition management.
- Interviewing Techniques: Experience conducting behavioral-based interviews and applying structured interview frameworks to evaluate candidate competencies comprehensively.
- Diversity & Inclusion Awareness: Commitment to promoting diversity in hiring practices and fostering an inclusive hiring environment.
Compensation and Benefits
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the wage range for this role is $60,480 - $9-0,720.
