As a Senior IBM Maximo Administrator at SOC LLC, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success and efficiency of the Day & Zimmermann Government Services contract at Hawthorne Army Depot. Your expertise will directly contribute to the seamless operation of critical asset management systems that support preventive and corrective maintenance, work scheduling, and inventory management. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the maintenance operations of a vital government facility, fostering collaboration across multiple departments including supply chain, information technology, cybersecurity, finance, and program leadership.

 

 

Your impact extends beyond day-to-day administration; you will drive continuous enhancements that improve data integrity, system usability, and reporting accuracy, enabling stakeholders to make informed operational and strategic decisions. By acting as the technical authority and primary liaison for Maximo, you will ensure that the platform is a reliable, secure, and compliant backbone that meets stringent contract requirements and advances mission-critical goals.

As the Senior IBM Maximo Administrator, here's the work you'll do:

  • Administer and enhance the IBM Maximo system configuration, including user access, workflows, screen customizations, and data structure optimizations tailored to the specific needs of the Hawthorne Army Depot program.
  • Provide expert-level application support by promptly diagnosing, escalating, and resolving issues to minimize downtime and maintain system reliability across maintenance, operations, supply chain, finance, IT, and other departments.
  • Maintain rigorous data governance practices by monitoring asset records, maintenance plans, work orders, inventory, labor reporting, and inspection data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and oversee Maximo software updates, integration projects, security reviews, and vendor partnerships, ensuring all changes undergo thorough testing and documentation to uphold operational continuity and cybersecurity standards.
  • Lead training initiatives and develop documentation resources to empower users and promote best practices in Maximo utilization that align with evolving contract performance objectives.
  • Engage proactively with stakeholders to identify and implement opportunities for process automation, reporting improvements, and system enhancements that contribute to overall operational excellence.

This role is for you if you have these skills:

  • Proven expertise in IBM Maximo application administration, including configuration of workflows, user permissions, system settings, and data management to support complex asset and maintenance environments.
  • Strong understanding of CMMS/EAM principles and operational workflows related to asset management, preventive and corrective maintenance, inventory control, labor reporting, inspections, and work management.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues methodically, providing clear documentation and communicating solutions effectively to diverse user groups.
  • Competence in data governance practices involving data validation, auditing, reporting, and continuous process improvement to maintain high-quality and trustworthy system information.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between business requirements and technical constraints among cross-functional teams including program leadership, IT, cybersecurity, finance, and government stakeholders.
  • Experience managing change control processes, coordinating software updates, integrations, patches, and post-implementation reviews within controlled environments that prioritize security and operational stability.

And if you have these qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Information technology, computer science, business systems, engineering, operations management, or related discipline; equivalent related experience may be considered. Required
  • 5+ years Enterprise application administration, business systems administration, CMMS/EAM administration, maintenance management systems, or related technology-enabled operations experience. Required and
  • 3+ years IBM Maximo administration, configuration, support, reporting, workflow, asset management, work management, inventory, or related CMMS/EAM experience. Required.

 

 

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $116,080.00 - $188,630.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
