The Accountant 2, Enterprise Accounting is responsible for processing and initiating weekly and monthly payments of 35 plus vendor Benefit Plans, quarterly review and reconciliation of high volume of benefit accounts in Blackline. This position acts as the primary support of the team lead, helping to driving improvement, automation, and departmental controls. The Accountant 2, Enterprise Accounting is the lead support to CFT groups and assists in special projects.
Responsibilities
- Processes and initiate payment requests for 35 plus vendors Benefit plans, to clear 3rd party payments, and to reconcile the intercompany expenses on a monthly basis. Provides weekly report to HR Benefits on HSA account funding and reconciliation. Act as the lead support for the team and provides support during unplanned leave or vacation. Process and reconcile monthly, quarterly payments, and annual true ups of Monopolistic States (US) and WSIB (Canada) workers compensation programs. 50%
- Lead partnership with the HR benefits and compensation team, AP, and other business units to address any issues discovered during the benefits payment and reconciliation process. 15%
- Prepares large volume of quarterly account reconciliations for Benefits accounting in Blackline 15%
- Lead preparation, processing, and reconciliation of all benefit funding requests related to DAYPAC, Deferred Compensation and the Self-Funded Benefit Plans. Assists in managing the large volume of confidential information and to security transmit or upload to the carriers/trustees' websites/FTPs. 10%
- Support Ad hoc betterment projects such as process documentations and workflows for the CFT Operations group at the direction of the Director of CFT Operations. 5%
- Provides support during the annual 401K and Workers Compensation audits. 5%

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Accounting or Business Administration Required
- 4+ years of relevant accounting experience, audit experience Required
In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $80,000 - $121,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
