We’re looking for a full-time, Quality Control Inspector to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Parsons, Kansas.
As the Quality Control Inspector, here’s the work you’ll do:
- Performs the handling required to accomplish the assigned inspection/testing functions.Maintains Quality Control charts and other records to report results of assigned inspection/ test function.
- Observes and monitors production operations to verify compliance with approved SOP, Quality Work Instructions and other applicable procedures. Reports defects/discrepancies, coordinates MRB disposition and initiates requests for corrective action in accordance with approved procedures.
- Investigate problems and report to appropriate staff for assistance/resolution.
- Verifies setup calibration of inspection/ test equipment in accordance with approved procedures.

- High School and/or equivalent plus 6 hours of Principles of Accounting, or higher level math.
- At least 1 year experience in manufactguring industry, related inspection experience.
- Quality Control Inspector training is required to achieve and maintain certification.
- Ability to use different types of measuring equipment. SAP experience a plus.
