As our Development Supervisor, you’ll be at the center of the action, leading Development Technicians while coordinating with Engineering, Materials, Maintenance, Metrology, Safety, and other teams to keep people, equipment, materials, and schedules on track.This isn’t a sit-behind-a-desk supervisory role. You’ll provide hands-on leadership on the production floor, troubleshoot day-to-day challenges, coordinate resources, develop your team, and help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

As the Development Supervisor here's the work you'll do:
- Coordinate daily development activities and schedules to meet customer delivery requirements. Work closely with development engineering and other support groups to identify and resolve issues involving work orders, procedures, tooling, materials, equipment and other production needs.
- Coordinate with the materials department to ensure required materials are available for scheduled work. Track material locations and inventory and manage monthly inventory and annual property inventory requirements.
- Provide daily direction and supervision to development technicians, including assigning work, monitoring attendance, approving time off and timesheets, and managing required training and certifications. Provide hands-on production support when needed.
- Coordinate tool changes, equipment calibration, maintenance needs, and facility work requests to minimize downtime and ensure equipment and work areas are ready to support production.
- Promote a safe and organized work environment by completing required inspections, shop floor audits, safety checklists, and corrective actions. Participate in safety meetings and ensure employees follow applicable procedures, work instructions and safety requirements.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact safety, quality, production or customer delivery. Coordinate with engineering, metrology, materials, maintenance, safety and other support groups to remove barriers and maintain efficient operations.

And if you have these qualifications:
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- Technical education or training Preferred
- 4+ years previous experience in a manufacturing, machining, production or technical environment Required
- 2+ years supervisory experience Preferred
- Must possess a valid REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, which includes the gold or black star in the upper corner OR current passport, indicating it is federally compliant.
- A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate with team members is essential for contributing to a cohesive work environment.
- Successful completion of a background screening process is mandated for all candidates.

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $61,680- $92,520. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements)
