Job Description: 

 

As the Maintenance Technician here’s the work you’ll do:

  • Responsible for proper set-up, operation and maintenace of facility. May be required, but not limited to, assemble/disassemble machines to determine defects, repairs, replacement and cleaning of parts, as needed.
  • May perform duties involving receiving, storing/stowing, packing/unpacking, inspecting, assembling, breakdown, reworking, and palletizing components and finished product.
  • Responsible for drawing and operating  Die-cutting and Strip Cutting machinery in accordnace with customers specification for materials. Read, interpret, inspect and validate  for accuracy of specified dimensions.
  • Maintain facility and grounds by performing general duties such as: empty trash, lawn and equipment care.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment. Conduct regular inspection of the facility.May operate hand or power trucks and tools, while performing tasks to stow, stack or prepare for shipment.
  • Perform all other duties related as assigned.

 

This role is for you if you have these skills:

  • Good manual dexterity and general good physical condition.
  • Ability to work with small parts.
  • Reading and math skills at a level normally acquired through high school education. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design schematics.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • When an employee is working on a job, he or she may be assigned to perform those duties of another classification which he or she is capable of performing except that the time spent in such activity will not exceed fifty percent (50%) of any workweek. At no time shall an employee be assigned duties which he or she has neither the knowledge nor the skill to accomplish or which would compromise his or her personal safety or the safety of others.

 

And if you have these qualifications:

  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
  • 1 year of experience Preferred
  • Following employment must successfully pass the required training, to incude but not limited to being certifed to operate forklift and tow motor
  • Must possess a valid compliant driver’s license
  • A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate with team members is essential for contributing to a cohesive work environment.
  • Successful completion of a background screening process is mandated for all candidates.

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $21.64 - $25.00/HR. Please note that this range is not a guarantee of compensation; final offer amounts may vary based on experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on the date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
