We're looking for an experienced Supervisor, Supply Technician.

 

The Supervisor, Supply Technician supervises assigned supply, accountability, inventory, and related munitions-support employees within Supply Depot Operations at Hawthorne Army Depot. This position establishes schedules and priorities, coordinates ammunition accountability and inventory-control activities, provides technical training and guidance, and supports compliance with Company, contract, Department of Defense, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Position may require security clearance, consistent with contract requirements and government approval.  U.S. or Naturalized citizenship is required.

This position is located on site in Hawthorne, NV.

 

As the Supervisor, Supply Technician, here’s the work you’ll do:

 

  • Supervise day-to-day work of assigned supply, inventory, accountability, and munitions-support employees. Set priorities, schedule work, provide direction, support performance feedback, and make recommendations related to hiring, separations, promotions, or other employment-status changes.
  • Oversee receipt, review, analysis, coordination, processing, control, and updating of ammunition accountability files through audits, adjustments, inventory validation, and quality-control activities. Coordinate inventory location validation, physical inventories, location matches, and location audits in accordance with applicable requirements
  • Coordinate with internal organizations, government staff, QASAS, quality assurance, storage, traffic, and planning personnel to reconcile records and items on hand. Research and provide identification data, condition code changes, NSN changes, disposition requests, and other required supply or inventory actions
  • Process and oversee documentation supporting receipt, transfer, movement, release, and accountability of ammunition and components. Prepare and provide verbal and written reports, including required CDRL reports and documentation supporting the QASAS DSR program
  • Provide technical training and work guidance to assigned personnel, including one-on-one instruction, training material preparation, administrative training support, and interpretation of ammunition accountability requirements as they apply to depot operations
  • Maintain office Quality Management System document control and support compliance with Company, government, contract, environmental, safety, and ethical requirements. Report potential or known environmental and safety concerns and perform related duties consistent with the position scope and business needs.

 

This role is for you if you have these skills:

 

  • Supply and inventory management knowledge sufficient to oversee ammunition accountability, receipt, movement, release, audit, adjustment, and inventory-control activities.
  • People leadership capability sufficient to supervise assigned employees, set priorities, provide direction, support training, and make employment-status recommendations.
  • Analytical capability sufficient to reconcile records, identify discrepancies, research NSN and condition code issues, and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Technical training capability sufficient to instruct assigned personnel on ammunition accountability, systems use, documentation, and applicable procedures.
  • Professional communication capability sufficient to prepare reports, coordinate with government and internal stakeholders, and communicate requirements in English
  • Computer and systems proficiency sufficient to use LMP and related supply, inventory, reporting, document-control, and Quality Management System tools

 

 

And if you have these qualifications:

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field may be considered where applicable; equivalent related experience may be considered
  • Minimum four (4) years of supply, inventory management, ammunition accountability, munitions logistics, or related work experience, including at least one (1) year of supervisory, lead, or work-direction experience.
  • Must possess and/or complete all training and certifications required by the current Master Training Plan and maintain current training and certifications as a condition of continued employment.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid State of Nevada driver’s license unless physically unqualified to obtain such a license. Must be able to obtain and maintain required government, site, and security clearances as applicable to the assignment.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, clearance through the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and a CAC.

 

 

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the hourly pay range for this role is $60,000- $90,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
