As the Production Supervisor here's the work you'll do:

Position Summary

Supervises and coordinates production activities of workers ensuring compliance with policies and customer requirements. Supervises sophisticated assembly or machinery operation requiring superior expertise.

  • Oversee production by developing detailed staffing requirements, assignments, and plans to meet customers requirements. Inspect equipment and ensure safe use.
  • Supervises and monitors operators for compliance to SOPs and TDP requirements. Responsible for training, directing and supervising employees while assuring that production activities are performed IAW approved Federal, State, and Company procedures.
  • Investigates, reports, and implements corrective action on all incidents, accidents and injuries within area of responsibility; recommends hire, termination, promotion, transfer, leave of absence and other personnel changes for employee under his/her direction.
  • Trains, instructs and enforces all safety rules, regulations, and procedures while promoting a safe work environment.
  • Coordinate with other personnel for resolution of operational problems. Assist with the implementation of productivity and quality improvement projects. Provide daily and monthly production reports.
  • Perform all other tasks as requested.
     

This role is for you if you have these skills:

  • Knowledge of establishing and maintaining accountable records.
  • Regularly exercises initiative, discretion and independent judgment in the performance of work duties.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, to include entry and retrieval of information.
  • Ability to observe, instruct and provide consistent and fair discipline to employees on plant policies and  procedures.
     

And if you have these qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma or GED required.  Some College Preferred     
  • Length of Experience:Three (3) years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
  • Certifications:Licenses/ Registrations: Valid driver's license     
  • Other: Ability to define problems, take recommended action based upon applicable established guidelines. Must be able to successfully background check and drug screen.


In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $57,200- $85,800. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).

•    Ability to wear a mask, respirator, bullet proof vest, or other equipment.
•    Ability to regularly perform all job functions at Company’s office or worksite.
•    Ability to withstand environmental conditions (e.g. extreme heat or cold, grass, wind, sand, fumes, odors, gases, extreme noise, etc.)
