This role is an integral part of the DZMG - DZOps Systems LS division and focuses on delivering high-quality IT infrastructure support to ensure our corporate and project systems operate smoothly and securely.

As the Systems Engineer, here is the work you'll do:
- Support and troubleshoot various corporate and project infrastructure components, including network devices, Windows servers, storage arrays, virtualization environments, and enterprise applications. Manage and resolve routine user support tickets efficiently, escalating intricate issues with comprehensive documentation to specialized teams as needed.
- Install, configure, and maintain assigned infrastructure elements, adhering strictly to company standards and established change management protocols. This ensures consistent, recoverable, and secure operations aligned with business and project requirements.
- Monitor daily infrastructure operations by reviewing system performance metrics, availability reports, equipment inventories, and maintenance activities. Proactively identify operational issues, implement corrective actions, and maintain precise records to support a resilient technology environment.
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure colleagues on system upgrades, technology refresh projects, and routine maintenance tasks. Coordinate deployments and support efforts while minimizing disruption to end users and aligning with overall team priorities and project timelines.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and support records. Implement information security policies rigorously to safeguard employee, customer, corporate, and project data, ensuring compliance with privacy and security standards.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear explanations of technical issues, progress updates on support tickets, and requirements needed to resolve incidents or complete tasks. Serve as a bridge between users, vendors, and IT teams to foster collaborative problem-solving.
This role is for you if you have these skills:
- Comprehensive working knowledge of IT infrastructure operations covering networks, Windows Server environments, storage solutions, virtualization technologies (such as VMware or Hyper-V), and enterprise-level applications.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose routine system, application, connectivity, and user support issues thoroughly and escalate complex cases with clear and detailed documentation.
- Competency in systems administration including configuration and management of Windows Server, Active Directory, and related enterprise hardware and software tools.
- Experienced in operational documentation management and change control processes to maintain accurate support records, adhere to change requests, and execute assigned duties with proper authorization and controls.
- Strong awareness of information security principles and data protection best practices to responsibly handle sensitive information consistent with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills capable of articulating technical concepts clearly to users, vendors, and internal team members to ensure timely resolution of support tickets and efficient collaboration.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience required, Information technology, computer science, systems engineering, or related technical field; equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience may be considered.
- 1+ years experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, or supporting IT infrastructure such as Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, storage, virtualization, enterprise applications, or advanced desktop/server support.
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $68,480 - $102,720. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as the final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
