Quality Assurance Control Supervisor here's the work you'll do:

Position Summary

Under the guidance of the manager, the Quality Assurance Control Supervisor implements quality control and safety plans to ensure compliance with customer specifications and applicable regulations, inspects all phases of products to include but not limited to: services or operation for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards by performing on-going work for compliance. Ensures all requirements are performed in a satisfactory manner, specifies areas to be inspected (scheduled and unscheduled) and how often inspections will be accomplished, communicates deficiencies to proper persons, maintains quality control files, and document results of all inspections.

 

  • Complete moderate to complex audits and inspections of products to uphold established standards, to include first article inspections. Task may include examining raw materials and manufactured products for defects and adherence to specifications, employing visual inspections and sample models. Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on their ability to meet quality requirements.
  • Assist manager with monitoring of supplies to include but limited to, ordering supplies, and performing audits to ensure accuracy and availability of materials.
  • Train, mentor, direct and supervise quality control inspectors and technicians. Supervises QC technician to ensure compliance with SOPs and TDP requirements.
  • Compile, maintain and update quality documentation, including inspection records, quality manuals, files and procedures. Collects, analyzes and processes data for Quality metrics. Communicates quality issues to the manager. Coordinate.
  • Facilitates internal reviews and comments on Inspection and Test Plan’s (ITP’s) and when applicable may write ITPs. Records inspection results within Inspection and Test Plans and various Inspection and Test Reports. Implement best practices to prevent defects and streamline processes.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to quality assurance activities. Perform all other duties related as assigned or requested.
     

This role is for you if you have these skills:

  • Good manual dexterity and general good physical condition.
  •  Ability to work with small parts.
  • Reading and math skills at a level normally acquired through high school education. Ability to read and interpret.
  • blueprints and design schematics.
  • 4 Must be able to communicate with all levels in the organization.
  • 5 When an employee is working on a job, he or she may be assigned to perform those duties of another
  • classification which he or she is capable of performing except that the time spent in such activity will not
  • exceed fifty percent (50%) of any workweek. 
  • At no time shall an employee be assigned duties which he or she
  • has neither the knowledge nor the skill to accomplish or which would compromise his or her personal safety or
  • the safety of others.

And if you have these qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma or GED.
  • Length of Experience: 5 year of manufacturing experience with 3 year of quality experience.
  • Certifications: Following employment must successfully pass the required training, to include but not limited to being certified to operate forklift and tow motor
  • Licenses/ Registrations: Valid driver's license.
  • Other: Must be able to successfully background check and drug screen.

 

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $59,600- $89,400. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).

•    Expertise in: EXCEL, WORD, CADD (Revit/Bentley)
•    Ability to wear a mask, respirator, bullet proof vest, or other equipment.
•    Ability to regularly perform all job functions at Company’s office or worksite.
•    Ability to withstand environmental conditions (e.g. extreme heat or cold, grass, wind, sand, fumes, odors, gases, extreme noise, etc.)
