Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Trains, instructs and monitors operators for compliance to SOPs and TDP requirements. Responsible for training, motivating, directing and supervising employees involved in collecting, transporting, storing, treating, disposing and/or otherwise handling hazardous mterials, waste and its related documentation, assuring that such activities are performed i/a/w approved Federal, State, and Company procedures. 20%
- Plans and schedules work of section for maximum utilization of employees and equipment in meeting production schedules efficiently. Determines job assignments as necessary. 30%
- Monitors product cost within responsible cost center and strives to improve cost efficiency. Monitors quality of production and insures the proper use of tools, equipment and materials within his/her designated work area - a subdivision of a production line, or a production line when needed. 20%
- Complies with bargaining unit contracts and Company Employee Relations Plan and provides prompt attention to all employee grievances. Investigates, reports, and implements corrective action on incidents, accidents and injuries within area of responsibility; recommends hire, termination, promotion, transfer, leave of absence and other personnel changes for employees under his/her direction. 10%
- Enforces all safety rules, regulations, and company procedures and promotes safe work habits. 10%
- Analyzes requests and oversees proper maintenance of all machines, equipment and facilities within assigned jurisdiction and possesses a general knowledge of work performed. 10%
KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Working knowledge of computers including entry and retrieval of information.
- Knowledge of establishing and maintaining accountable records
- Regularly exercises initiative, discretion and independent judgment in the performance of work duties.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- Associate’s Degree (AA) Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Preferred
- 2+ years supervisory experience in a production environment, or equivalent experience as a Production Leader. Required

Compensation and Benefits
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the wage range for this role is $61,200 - $91,800. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
