As the Supervisor, Operations 1, DZMG here's the work you'll do:
Position Summary
Supervises production workers engaged in processing or loading components and end-item munitions, and establishes work assignments within area of responsibility. May direct production processes such as, but not limited to, inert material preparing, screening and blending, pelleting, melting, loading, explosive preparing assembly, packing, shipping repairing and machining.
- Maintains a continuous program of training, follow-up, retraining and enforcement of Standing Operating Procedures, Safety & Security Regulations, Fire Prevention Regulations and Control of Sensitive Items with subordinate personnel to assure compliance.
- Complies with bargaining unit contracts and Company Employee Relations Plan and provides prompt attention to all employee grievances. Investigates, reports, and implements corrective action on all incidents, accidents and injuries within area of responsibility; recommends hire, termination, promotion, transfer, leave of absence and other personnel changes for employee under his/her direction.
- Monitors product cost within responsible cost center and strives to improve cost efficiency.
- Monitors quality of production and insures the proper use of tools, equipment and materials within his/her designated work area - a subdivision of a production line, or a production line when needed.

- Exercises initiative, independent judgment and discretion in performance of duties.
- Goal and results oriented.
- Knowledge of bargaining unit contracts, production standards and safety requirements.
- Ability to observe, instruct and provide consistent and fair discipline to employees on plant policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills.
And if you have these qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Preferred: 2-4 yr degree Business Management.
- Length of Experience: 1 year supervisory experience, preferably production, with background in planning, scheduling, production and cost control.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be able to successfully complete BATFE background check.
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $44,800- $67,200. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
