Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr Manager, Materials to join us onsite in Texarkana, TX. The Senior Manager, Material for D&Z Plants is responsible for overseeing all material functions to ensure efficient movement, delivery, planning, and scheduling of materials to meet both internal and external customer needs. This role ensures the accuracy of records, manages key business systems, and drives process improvements to enhance cost efficiency, cycle time, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all material functions, ensuring timely and accurate movement, delivery, planning, and scheduling to meet project and customer requirements. 30%
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and inventory balances, ensuring compliance with contractual and internal operational standards. Ensure key business systems are operating at optimal accuracy to meet both contractual obligations and internal constraints. 25%
  • Manage budgeting and cost control activities to support financial performance goals. 20%
  • Lead and implement improvement plans to standardize and enhance material processes across all D&Z Plant sites, reducing costs, eliminating waste, and improving cycle time, with goal to improve profitability and customer satisfaction. 15%
  • Attract, retain, and develop employees by evaluating performance, ensuring alignment with goals and objectives, and fostering professional growth. 10%

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or Operations/Material Management. Preferred
  • 7+ years experience in material accountability or related field. Experience should include in materials management, budgeting, logistics, or supply chain operations and change agent responsibilities. Required

Compensation and Benefits

 

Candidates may be required to satisfy additional job-related requirements, including those established and controlled by third parties, as part of the selection process.

 

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the wage range for this role is $107,200 - $160,800. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
