We're looking for a full time, Sheetmetal Worker..

This position pays $28.97 per hour!

As the Sheetmetal Worker here’s the work you’ll do:
•    Performs a variety of operations involved in fabricating, installing, erecting and repairing sheet metal work.
•    Works from drawings, sketches, written specifications and verbal instructions, plans and lays out job to be accomplished; makes templates, forms and patterns as required. Works with following materials: carbon and stainless steel up to and over 1/8" thickness; sheet and shape aluminum up to and over 1/8" thickness; brass up to and over 1/8" thickness; sheet and shape galvanized steel up to and over 1/8" thickness.
•    Cuts, forms, rivets, assembles and Mig, Tig, and Stick welds (gas and heli-arc) the above materials when fabricated by sheet metal workers. Performs lead burning, soldering, both soft and silver solder, spot welds and brazes the above-named materials when fabricated by sheet metal workers.
•    After completion of job tasks, responsible for cleaning up work area.
•    Follows training when work requires collecting, transporting, storing, treating, disposing and/or otherwise handling of hazardous waste and its related documentation.
•    Maintains segregation of contaminated/hazardous waste as prescribed in procedures and SOPs. Receiving training as outlined in Company's Hazardous Waste Training Program.


This role is for you if you have these skills:
•    Reads and interprets drawings, sketches, written specifications and verbal instructions
•    Effective oral and written communication skills.
•    Ability to use tools complementary to the sheet metal worker craft.
•    Performs work assignments in accordance with safety work instructions and current policies.
•    Maintains clean work areas.


And if you have these qualifications: 
•    Completion of training program or equivalent.
•    3 - 4 years work experience at the journey level.

•    Ability to read complex documents in the English language.
•    Capacity to reason and make sound decisions.
•    Ability to write complex documents in the English language.
•    Capacity to express thoughts orally.
•    Ability to regularly perform all job functions at Company’s office or worksite.
•    Ability to withstand environmental conditions (e.g. extreme heat or cold, grass, wind, sand, fumes, odors, gases, extreme noise, etc.)
