Job Summary
We are hiring a Manufacturing Engineer 2 to join us onsite in Texarkana, TX. This role will:
Under general supervision, perform engineering design activities including the development of engineering deliverables and specifications on assigned contracts, prepare quotation request and purchase orders for equipment and materials and undertake field assignments and factory inspections to ensure compliance to specifications. Applies engineering industry accepted engineering techniques/procedures and criteria.
Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing processes by performing general engineering duties encompassing the preparation of studies, drafts, specifications, cost and scheduling documents. Sets priorities and executes daily responsibilities of multiple manufacturing processes and products. 30%
- May communicate project needs, schedules and activities to include, but not limited to, Project Management, Proposal Writing and Budgeting. 20%
- Prepare and update operator procedures for shop floor and address daily production related issues on shop floor. 20%
- Assist with taking projects from inception to production, on-time and within budget. 20%
- Participate in continuous improvement projects. 10%

KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Lean Manufacturing Methods and Techniques (Hands-on)
- Ability to read and interpret various drawings and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Cost Estimating and Facilities Planning
- Knowledge in Word, Access, Excel, AutoCAD, 3-D Modeling, Outlook, SAP and other software programs as needed.
- Possess technical writing skills for procedures and reports
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) (Ind Tech, Ind Eng, Mech, Electric, Manufacturing, etc.) Required
- 5+ years in manufacturing engineering Preferred

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the wage range for this role is $76,080 - $114,120. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
