We're looking for a full-time, Boiler House Specialist

As the Boiler House Specialist, here’s the work you’ll do:
•    Operates and maintains high- and low-pressure boilers to generate steam that supplies heat for buildings and production operations.
•    Maintains specified fuel feed, draft openings, water level and steam pressure, etc., of boilers for efficient, safe operations.
•    Observes boiler auxiliary units to detect malfunction and makes repairs and adjustments necessary for proper operation.
•    Collects water samples and treats boiler feed water using specified chemicals as prescribed by chemical analysis of sample.
•    Performs general boiler house maintenance duties such as lubricate equipment, repair leaks in pipe systems and pumping units, change out and/or repair valves, change out pump units, repair draft system, clean or replace tubes, repair insulation, minor painting, etc.
•    Maintains log of meter and gauge readings, including quantity of fuel consumed. Cleans up work area after completion of job tasks.

This role is for you if you have these skills:
•    Ability to record and maintain log of work assignments.
•    Knowledge of Company's Hazardous Waste Training Program.
•    Ability to clean work area.
•    Ability to identify malfunctions and make repairs and adjustments as needed.


And if you have these qualifications: 
•    Vocational training or equivalent.
•    3 - 4 years experience at the journey level.

•    Talking
•    Capacity to think, concentrate and focus for long periods of time.
•    Ability to read complex documents in the English language.
•    Capacity to reason and make sound decisions.
•    Ability to write complex documents in the English language.
•    Capacity to express thoughts orally.
•    Ability to wear a mask, respirator, bullet proof vest, or other equipment.
•    Ability to regularly perform all job functions at Company’s office or worksite.
•    Ability to withstand environmental conditions (e.g. extreme heat or cold, grass, wind, sand, fumes, odors, gases, extreme noise, etc.)
