Position Description
We’re looking for a full-time, staff Senior BIM Coordinator to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in the Stanton, TN area.
As the Senior BIM Coordinator, here’s the work you’ll do:
Primarily responsible for supporting building information modeling (BIM) documentation and projects as a member of a production support team with advanced knowledge of BIM and all digital processes associated with the design and construction stages of projects. Ensure 3D models, drawings and structural data are managed and stored in accessible places and deliver project information model to internal and external clients.
As the BIM Coordinator, here’s the work you’ll do:
- Communicate with clients internally and externally for problem solving, data gathering or related topics and monitors project delivery to ensure compliance with the agreed upon strategy, standards and processes.
- Provide technical staff with assistance performing difficult or complicated tasks and conducts training for department staff and end-users when needed.
- Coordinate the application of BIM technologies at the project level by working with all building and infrastructure disciplines.
- Create clash detection reports and leads clash detection meetings with design teams.
- Assist, or fill in for, the BIM manager with high level project meetings with internal and external clients.
- Participate in the project-based BIM strategy call and kick-off meetings for projects and ensures the BIM models adhere to all internal and client specific goals and standards.
This role is for you if you have these skills:
- Advanced working technical knowledge of Revit and Navisworks. Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) experience a plus.
- Ability to understand Autodesk Revit Applications and Navisworks at a high level. Knowledge of Revit collaboration tools, site coordination, and Navisworks clash detection functions is required.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues/problems with Autodesk Applications and assist technical staff.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to positively engage employees and clients at all levels.
- Knowledge of Bentley BIM/CAD applications is helpful.
And if you have these qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, BIM, or related field preferred. Prior experience may be substituted for degree.
- 8 + years relevant experience preferred.
- Revit, AutoCAD/ABS, Navisworks, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Revit Certified Professional preferred (any discipline). Microsoft and Autodesk Certifications a plus.
- Microsoft and Autodesk Certifications a plus.
- US Citizenship.
- Great attitude and team player.
- Successful completion of background screening process.
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the wage range for this role is $66,800 - $100,200. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
