Position Description

We are looking for a full-time staff, Specialist, Content & Communications to join our Day & Zimmermann team.

 

Primarily responsible for creating, editing, and scheduling high-quality, engaging, impactful content and communications for the company’s intranet that clearly communicates the company’s brand promise, unique value propositions, service offerings, values, and culture by highlighting projects, programs, events, and employee/departmental achievements. Responsible for managing the social media calendar, coordinating social posts with content collaborators, including but not limited to content developers, marketing managers and cross-functional teams, to ensure brand standards are consistently maintained. Provide performance analytics of all posts for reporting purposes.

As the Specialist, Content and Communications, here’s the work you’ll do:

  • Highly creative writer/storyteller with excellent proofreading and editing skills. Ability to follow style guides and use templates
  • Understanding of major social media platforms (especially LinkedIn and Facebook) and their specific features, audiences, and best practices, and SEO basics. Basic knowledge of social media analytics to track performance and understand metrics like engagement, reach, and conversions
  • Process-driven and deadline-oriented with the ability to analyze and interpret data to drive more engaging content
  • Proven ability to collaborate, influence, and work with cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated with the ability to perform multiple projects/assignments with little oversight
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft 365 products and SharePoint (or other collaborative content management system)
  • Familiarity with Monday.com, Adobe Creative Suite is preferred, not required

This role is for you if you have these skills:

And if you have these qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field

• 2-4 years of experience in content creation, editing, and social media management

 

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $57,200 - $85,800. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
