Job Summary

Accountable for achieving the strategic growth objectives of DZMG in the area of GOCO Munitions. Full P&L responsibility for American Ordnance LLC responsible for financial performance and attainment of revenue and net contribution goals and driving a strong safety culture and robust customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for American Ordnance LLC, coordinating with Day & Zimmermann goals and standards. Develop long-range objectives and business plans that fit the company values and risk profiles. 30%
  • Maintain key customer relationships within the US government and the defense industry. Represents the Company in the Burlington, Iowa and Miland, Tennessee regional communities and promotes the Company's good will and interest in community activities. 30%
  • Direct all division functions including sales, operations, engineering, quality and safety to drive operational excellence and innovation. 30%
  • Partner with head of VP, D&Z Operations; SVP, DZMG; and DZMG group staff to develop and implement plans to achieve strategic growth objectives across the division. 10%

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Bachelors degree Required

  • Experience in US Government contracting; extensive knowledge of ammunition products Required
