Job Summary

As a Practice Lead within the Life Sciences sector at Yoh Services LLC, you will play a pivotal role in driving the business forward through strategic leadership and operational expertise. This position demands a seasoned professional who will be responsible for spearheading sales growth, maximizing overall profitability, and overseeing all facets of business operations within the assigned practice area. With full Profit & Loss (P&L) accountability, you will implement and execute evidence-based Go-To-Market strategies aimed at surpassing sales and gross profit targets. Your leadership will focus on nurturing and developing a high-performing team while fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This remote-based role, aligned with our Specialty Practices within Validation LS & HC, offers the opportunity to impact the national footprint of our services while maintaining strong customer partnerships and operational excellence.

In this role, you will orchestrate strategic initiatives that align with Yoh's long-term business objectives, acting as the visionary and operational steward to enhance market presence and client satisfaction. Your ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels and drive innovative outreach to target industries will be critical to success.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Team Development (25%): Inspire and guide your team through hands-on coaching, targeted training programs, and performance management, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) to continuously elevate both individual and collective achievements to meet and exceed financial and operational goals.
  • Client Relationship Management (25%): Cultivate and strengthen enduring partnerships with key decision-makers within existing accounts through consistent engagement, strategic presence on-site, and responsive service delivery to foster trust and expand business opportunities.
  • Profit and Business Growth Strategy (25%): Lead comprehensive profit planning initiatives and execute robust growth strategies, collaborating closely with recruiting and sales teams to create well-rounded Account Plans that promote service expansion nationally and solidify critical mass in our home office.
  • Strategic Planning and Budgeting (10%): Develop and monitor budgets, while partnering with clients and internal teams to define short- and long-term objectives that support both account management excellence and project fulfillment efficiency.
  • Market Expansion Initiatives (10%): Identify and analyze target industries and geographic markets to develop pipelines that align with organizational growth targets, ensuring a balanced approach to fulfilling current commitments and pursuing new business leads.
  • Operational Oversight (5%): Oversee branch-level sales, recruitment, and back-office operations, ensuring accurate financial processes, timekeeping, CRM and ATS system utilization, job order quality, and contractor selection maintain high standards of compliance and effectiveness.

KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage diverse teams effectively, fostering an inclusive and high-performing culture.
  • Exemplary customer service and relationship management skills, with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong client partnerships.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in the staffing industry, preferably within Life Sciences or Business Management sectors, including development and leadership of sales and fulfillment strategies.
  • Strong business acumen with hands-on experience managing financial aspects of a practice, including comprehensive P&L responsibilities.
  • Strategic thinking capabilities with a national outlook for business development, adept at leveraging market insights and analytical tools to guide decisions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management and operational oversight to ensure seamless execution of business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Sciences, Business Management, or a closely related field is required to provide a solid foundation for leadership and strategic decision-making.
  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in leadership roles, ideally within the staffing or Life Sciences industry, demonstrating progressive responsibility and success.
  • Proven track record of managing full P&L responsibility and developing profitable growth strategies.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including sales, recruiting, and operations to achieve integrated business goals.
  • A strong history of fostering client relationships and driving account expansion through strategic initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $112,880 - $169,320. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
