Job Summary

This position manages through SAP the demand and supply balance for produced and/or purchased products for a single site. This includes inventory planning, lot forecasting, materials reconciliation, production conformations and daily inventory transactions. This role manages supply planning processes, executing in a manner of maintaining WIP and inventory within a 45 day balance relative to production schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Works with the Operations team to plan materials and lot forecasting to meet production schedule requirements, and maintain WIP at a maximum 45 day supply in advance of production schedule. Sets up SAP structure for all contracts, BOM's, Routings, work Centers to prepare for contract performance. 
  • Work with Operations and Quality team to ensure that SAP conformations, and daily production records are performed timely and accurately. Ensures accurate period end inventory is taken, investigate and work with Operations, Quality and Finance team to correct errors ensure correct records for period close. 
  • Works with Procurement team to ensure that materials are ordered and delivered in a manner to support the production schedule and maintain Inventory at a maximum 45 day supply in advance of production schedule. responsible for preparing requisitions for all production materials and working with Procurement to ensure orders are placed and approved to meet schedule requirements. 
  • Work with inventory team to ensure that records of inventory are counted on a monthly basis and perform a reconcile of material inventory against the production schedule, physically confirming inventory as needed. Make assignments for counts validation, and reconciled for the purposes of lot forecasting and period end activities. 
  • Assist the operations team in SAP processes and activity. Train counterparts and ensure correct and accurate SAP transactions are performed. 
  • Prepare for, participate and provide direction in production planning meetings to ensure inventory planning, lot forecasting and daily production operations are on track to maintain schedule and production delivery.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP
  • Knowledge of all aspects of demand planning, production planning, production scheduling, forecasting, inventory management and control
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Must be able to successfully background check and drug screen

Minimum Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
  • 10+ years Minimum, Production Operations, Materials Planning & Procurement Required

Compensation and Benefits

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the wage range for this role $76,640 - $114,960.This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
