Position Description
We’re looking for a full-time, staff Web Developer to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Philadelphia, PA. This position is responsible for planning, designing & developing new software, web applications & services supporting Day & Zimmermann business units. Assists in developing enterprise web development strategy across desktop and mobile environments.
As the Web Developer, here’s the work you’ll do:
- Collaborates, plans, designs, develops, tests and debugs software, web applications & services, including but not limited to mobile device platforms.
- Researches, reviews & develops prototypes using emerging technologies to improve existing functionalities that benefit the business operations of Day & Zimmermann.
- Provides technical support and training of existing web applications and services.
- Sets up and manages servers configuration requirements for deploying web applications and services.
- Develops, organizes and manages the web designs to establish common look and feel for all applications.
- Integrates third party software & services.
This role is for you if you have these skills:
- Working knowledge of C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Ajax, JQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Javascript, TypeScript, Angular 8+.
- Solid background in UI responsive design and development.
- Backend database development with SQL Server to support web applications.
- Knowledgeable of the industry, web-related standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and operational skills.
And if you have these qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science or equivalent preferred.
- 10+ years of experience developing Web-based, data-centric applications.
- Working knowledge of Angular 8+ a must. Knowledge of mobile development & cross-browser compatibility and device capabilities a plus. Knowledgeable about CSS preprocessors(SASS, SCSS).
- Great attitude and team player.
- Successful completion of background screening process.
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the wage range for this role is $97,920.00 - $159,120.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
