Job Summary

We’re looking for a full-time, staff Payroll Tax Administrator to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Philadelphia, PA. The Payroll Tax Administrator will perform a wide range of tax related functions, including preparation of federal, state, & local withholding and unemployment tax returns and deposits for multiple legal entities in a multistate environment.

As the Payroll Tax Administrator, here’s the work you’ll do: 

  • Processing timely and accurate payroll tax payments and filings with appropriate federal, state, and local agencies.
  • Reconciles Monthly, Quarterly, Annual and W-2 filings.
  • Correspond with Tax agencies both in writing and verbally.
  • Analyze balances and reconciles tax deposit against vendor account balances.
  • Attends and participates in Company/Department trainings.
  • May work on special project and/or other duties as assigned.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word. Proficiency with SAP a plus.

And if you have these qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of payroll tax experience.
  • Great attitude and team player. 
  • Successful completion of background screening process.

Compensation and Benefits

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $52,160- $78,240. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
