Position Description

We’re looking for a full-time, staff Executive IT Support Lead to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Philadelphia, PA.

 

The Executive IT Support Lead is responsible for providing proactive and independent IT support for executive leadership. This role demands a high level of ownership and accountability, working directly with executives and their executive admins to identify, prioritize, and resolve issues across business systems, applications, devices, and services. The Executive IT Support Lead will quickly diagnose and resolve issues related to workstations, mobile devices, software applications, telecommunications, and local networks while ensuring seamless AV functionality for executive meetings and offsite events. This role also coordinates technology rollouts, manages executive impacting IT changes, and leads projects that enhance IT service delivery and efficiency.

As the Executive IT Support Lead, here’s the work you’ll do:

  • Serve as the primary IT advisor for executive leadership, independently managing escalations and ensuring seamless operation of critical technologies and business applications. Provide high-touch, white-glove support, taking full ownership of executive IT needs, including after-hours issue resolution. Act autonomously to anticipate challenges, minimize disruptions, and implement proactive solutions that enhance executive productivity and optimize the IT experience.
  • Proactively research, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies for executive deployment with minimal oversight. Assess solutions that enhance productivity, security, and efficiency, ensuring seamless integration into the executive environment. Present findings with strategic recommendations and lead implementation efforts, aligning technology advancements with executive and business objectives.
  • Independently collaborate across IT teams to ensure swift and thorough resolution of system and hardware issues impacting executive leadership. Act as the primary escalation point, facilitating cross-functional coordination to minimize downtime and maintain seamless executive operations.
  • Develop and refine processes, procedures, and documentation standards for executive support, ensuring consistency and efficiency. Take ownership of continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing workflows to enhance executive IT service delivery while identifying opportunities to streamline support models that improve the overall end-user experience. Additionally, share advanced technical knowledge with the desktop support team through training sessions, mentorship, and documentation, strengthening their ability to resolve complex IT challenges.
  • Lead the planning, testing, deployment, and optimization of new systems and hardware for executives, ensuring seamless integration with minimal disruption. Proactively identify and resolve potential issues, refining implementation strategies to enhance efficiency, reliability, and broader end-user adoption across the organization.

  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience in deploying new technologies and supporting systems with minimal direction and oversight.
  • Communication & Customer Service: Possess exceptional communication skills and the ability to meet timelines in a fast-paced environment. Possess strong customer service skills and be able to multitask between hardware and software solutions.
  • Problem Solving & Initiative: Strong aptitude for independently identifying issues and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
  • Learning Agility: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.

And if you have these qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems.
  • 5+ years’ experience supporting IT systems, hardware or devices
  • Great attitude and team player. 
  • Successful completion of background screening process.

 

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $90,640.00 - $135,960.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
