As the Material Supervisor here's the work you'll do:

Position Summary

This position is designed to support internal customers and function as the operational liaison connecting inventory, Supply Chain., Planning, Warehousing, Internal Logistics (material movement) and Quality. Responsibilities will include managing proper stock levels to maximize production efficiencies and optimizing Material flow to meet and exceed site and customer expectations. Knowledge, experience, and effective communication is required in order to mitigate risk and ensure successful completion of all tasks assigned.

  • Inventory readiness-Works with the Operations team to manage material lots and lot forecasting to meet production schedule requirements.
  • Inventory Accuracy-Works with Operations, Warehousing and Assets group to develop and execute a cycle count strategy and oversee physical counts of commercial and GFM inventories to maintain accuracy.
  • Inventory Disposition-Work with Quality, Operations, Warehousing and Assets group to ensure all inventory has the proper disposition classification in SAP and other accounting systems.
  • Production Planning-Develop, Implement, and maintain a comprehensive schedule strategy for parts, commodities, and services as they relate to production. Participate in sourcing strategies in support of business objectives and production schedules, making recommendations as to timely ordering and delivery to maintain on-time schedules.
  • Knowledge Management-Serve as SME (Subject Matter Expert) for ongoing production supply, inventory levels and supplier order status in the areas assigned and responsible for.
  • Mentor and develop direct reports by in accordance with overall Operational goals and objectives.

This role is for you if you have these skills:

  • High level of experience with SAP/ERP Systems, Excel, and MTS.
  • Detail Oriented and strong documentation skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and execute multiple projects simultaneously and capacity to work independently and as a member of cross-functional team.
  • Clear thinker and ability to influence others and having diversity of thoughts.
  • Product knowledge in the components, processing of those components and finished goods.

And these qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Materials Management, or related fields.
5+ years experience, Discrete Production, Manufacturing Experience. 
 

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $51,440 - $77,160. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).

•    Expertise in: EXCEL, WORD, CADD (Revit/Bentley)
•    Ability to wear a mask, respirator, bullet proof vest, or other equipment.
•    Ability to regularly perform all job functions at Company’s office or worksite.
•    Ability to withstand environmental conditions (e.g. extreme heat or cold, grass, wind, sand, fumes, odors, gases, extreme noise, etc.)
