As the Maintenance Supervisor here's the work you'll do:

We are looking for a full time, Maintenance Supervisor to join us on 2nd Shift.   Mon - Thu 5:00pm - 3:00am

Position Summary: 

Manages and supervises assigned personnel engaged in fabrication, installation, rearrangement, utilization and maintenance of Plant facilities including building, grounds, roads, utilities and equipment. Oversees the setup and use of tools and equipment before production use in order to ensure the optimum level of safety and efficiency. Displays and utilizes extensive experience and judgment to plan, set, and accomplish goals. Assists upper-level supervisors in complex or unusual maintenance projects. Inspects work in progress by outside contractors to determine adherence to plans and specifications. Evaluates the effectiveness of equipment operations and makes approved repairs or changes in operating methods to improve Plant operations. Inspects completed job assignments for adherence to trades standard and/or contract specifications. Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job assignments. 


  • Supervise hourly maintenance personnel in day to day activities, Reviews work objectives and estimates work-hour and skill requirements to accomplish objectives.
  • Diagnose and plan maintenance activities and preventive maintenance on systems plant-wide, including formulating schedules and arranging access to equipment and buildings.
  • Inspects work in process and resolves problems encountered and recommends changes in personnel, equipment, conditions (when considered appropriate) for more efficient performance.
  • Prepares cost estimates and evaluates capabilities of all crafts involved. Evaluates procedures and sequences of job phases during cost estimation to better staff each effort.
  • Interprets work orders, specifications, and blueprints for employees. Creates/formulates as-built and pre-fabrication sketches for secondary equipment and/ or relocation. Prepares job progress reports and required course of action negative and/or difficult situations.
  • Pre-check of active production facilities, equipment and power sources at the start of each workday.

And if you have these skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of and the ability to perform Maintenance Craft related skills.
  • Knowledge of cost estimating.
  • Computer skills (including but not limited to Microsoft Office suite).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, operate, maintain, construct and make repairs to facility, utilities, machinery and equipment.


And these qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required with Maintenance apprenticeship or technical school certification preferred.
  • 1 year supervisory experience in Maintenance related activities.
  • Equipment/Machine Operation certification.
  • Have good working knowledge of systems including electrical, pipe, mechanical, carpentry, masonry, and painting.


In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $52,800.00- $79,200.53. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).

•    Ability to withstand environmental conditions (e.g. extreme heat or cold, grass, wind, sand, fumes, odors, gases, extreme noise, etc.)
