As the VP, Program Management, here’s the work you’ll do:

Key leadership role leading, coaching, developing and optimizing program management functions to ensure the successful execution of multiple ammunition production and development programs. Provides strategic leadership and vision for all production and development programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives including planning, organizing, staffing, directing, controlling, maintaining and coordinating of all activities relating to the contract, bids and proposals, and customer interactions.

 

  • Provides leadership and accountability for the end-to-end program lifecycle, from program initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Establishes and maintains leadership and accountability for all program schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery and quality of production programs.Identifies and mitigates risks and issues proactively, implementing effective contingency plans as needed
  • Lead integrated product teams and apply disciplined program management practices and processes (EVMS, IMS, risk registers) to ensure financial compliance to company and business unit objectives.
  • Leads Program Directors and Managers, integrated program teams, and colleagues in the pursuit of contract compliance across all programs. Fosters a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
  • Ensures all ammunition production programs adhere to relevant regulatory and quality standards, such as ISO, ATF, and NIST. Collaborates with integrated product teams to implement quality control measures and address any non-conformities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for program-related inquiries and escalations, ensuring clear and timely communication. Serves as the Company's representative in engagements with government entities, external organizations, contractors, clients, and the local community. Perform duties of VP/GM in their absence.
  • Attract, retain, and develop talent. Assess team members based on their alignment with established goals and objectives, their contributions toward achieving those objectives, and their overall performance.

This role is for you if you have these skills:

  • Proficient program management expertise and well versed in Systems Contracting methodologies. Experience with various programs such as energetics and munitions manufacturing is required
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Financial acumen
  • Contracts and risk management
  • Negotiation and relationship management

And if you have these qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred
  • Proven experience in program management within the manufacturing or defense industry, with at least 15 years of experience and at least 8 years experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of program management methodologies and systems programming.

  • Experience in US Government contracting; extensive knowledge of ammunition products.

  • Must have management experience with large capital improvement programs to include new construction, renovations of facilities and acquisition and installation off munitions production equipment.

  • Strong background in working and partnering with international companies and government

 

In compliance with  pay transparency laws, the wage range for this role is $208,177 - $312,265. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
