Job Summary
We’re looking for a Supply Chain Intern to join our American Ordnance team located in Middletown, IA for Summer 2026. As a Supply Chain Intern, you will work closely with the Supply Chain team, assisting with various projects and daily tasks related to procurement and sourcing.
As a Supply Chain Intern, here’s the work you’ll do:
- Learn the basic principles of indirect sourcing and procurement, including spend analysis, supplier selection, and contract negotiation.
- Facilitate the execution and review of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
- Verify Supplier Insurance Coverage. Ensure compliance with JCP and SAMl government regulations.
- Participate in peer review and Purchase Order Audits. Assist with purchase order processing and tracking.
This role is for you if you have these skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong knowledge of creating reports and Excel formulas/shortcuts preferred.
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple ongoing tasks, manage to deadlines, and explore potential solutions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Mindset of curiosity and interested in learning more about Supply Chain and supportive in understanding the needs of the team/the groups they are partnered with.
And if you have these qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Must possess a valid REAL ID-compliant drivers license, which includes the gold or black star in the upper corner, indicating it is federally compliant.
- Great attitude and team player.
- Successful completion of background and drug screening process.

Compensation and Benefits
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $22.00 - $ 24.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
