Position Description

Assign production operators to specific jobs to accomplish production or workload schedules.
Direct production processes such as inert material preparing, screening and blending, pelleting, melting, loading, explosive preparation assembly, packing, shipping, repairing, and machining.
Monitor quality of production and insures proper use of tools, equipment and materials.
Assure subordinates receive adequate safety training and hazardous waste handling and that pertinent regulations are followed.
Establish employee morale and maintains discipline coordinating with higher authority when appropriate. Promotes and maintains high level of housekeeping.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of assigned production processes, equipment and materials.
