As the Supervisor, Material Planning here's the work you'll do:

  • Ensure inventory levels & assets are managed to support site business model, program inventory levels, days on hand, inventory turns by utilizing best practices in planning, scheduling & data interchange.
  • Maintain a comprehensive planning strategy for parts as related to the business unit through issuance/monitoring of purchase requisitions/orders in accordance with supply base lead times to meet company objectives.
  • Serve as Material Control POC(Point Of Contact) and SME(Subject Matter Expert) for assigned business unit. Understand regulatory requirements with respect to DoD, ITAR, ATF and HSE.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers, and various levels of management through clear and concise communication. As assigned, report status in relation to KPI's(Key Performance Indicators). 
  • Accountable for implementation of continuous improvement activities.
  • Mentor direct reports by in accordance with overall Supply Chain goals and objectives.

This role is for you if you have these skills:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • 5 years Production Operations, Materials Planning & Procurement.
  • Valid Driver’s License is required.
  • Great attitude and team player.
  • Successful completion of background screening process.

 

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $51,440 - $77,160. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
