As a Maintenance Supervisor - Night Shift here's the work you'll do:

  • Supervise daily operations of mechanical craft employees: electricians, electronics, millwrights, carpenters, equipment operators, truck drivers, sheet metal, ironworkers, pipefitters, garage mechanics, instrument technicians performing routine maintenance in a broad array of crafts and complexity throughout the facility. Oversee Contractors and projects as well.
  • Schedule and supervise all work including preventive maintenance, maintenance deficiency repairs, building inspection repairs, emergency repairs, maintenance projects, along with support of production operations. Plan and direct work force to ensure safety, manage costs, and ensure the tasks are completed on time and correctly.
  • Order and stock all parts and equipment for related jobs and craftsman under his/her supervision.
  • Engineer, design, and draw prints for small jobs and equipment to be fabricated and installed by craftsman under your supervision.
  • Prepare SOW's and cost estimates as required by A.O. & Gov't personnel to support plant functions.

This role is for you if you have these skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics. Interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, operate, maintain, construct and make repairs to facility, utilities, machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to handle multiple duties simultaneously. Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Knowledge of cost estimating. Knowledge in Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software programs. 
  • Ability to manage personnel and improve employee work habits. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

And these qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, Associates degree in a related field preferred.
  • 5 years’ experience in a Mechanical field/craft required. 1 year of supervisory experience in a Mechanical setting preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • US Citizenship.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, SAP preferred.
  • Great attitude and team player.
  • Successful completion of background screening process.

 

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $59,600 - $89,400 This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
