As the Program Manager here's the work you'll do:
- Coordinate with and enlist the assistance of other internal resources as necessary to affect the functions of contract administration, purchasing, production, cost control and analysis, reporting, etc. on established/awarded programs (proactive/planned activities).
- Maintain strong customer commitment through regular communication to advise status of program and resolve issues.
- Respond and manage urgent contract/production/materials/supply chain/etc. issues as they arise in a timely and organized manor (reactive activities).
- Develop proposals/pricing strategic paths to compete for and be awarded new contracts.
- Special projects as needed.
This role is for you if you have these skills:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Delegates work assignments; Matches the responsibility to the person; Gives authority to work independently; Sets expectations and monitors delegated activities; Provides recognition for results.
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Project, SAP and other software programs is needed.
- Respond promptly to customer needs; both internal and external. Maintains confidentiality. Experienced negotiator. Listen and get clarification; Responds well to questions. Communicate clearly and informatively verbally and in writing; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information.
And these qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Technical Field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of management/leadership experience preferred.
- 2-10+ years of experiene in Governement Procurement field preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance may be required.
- Must possess a valid REAL ID-compliant drivers license, which includes the gold or black star in the upper corner, indicating it is federally compliant.
- Successful completion of background screening process.

In compliance with this states pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $86,160 - $160,800. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
