As the Program Manager 2 here's the work you'll do:

  • Direct the engineering, management, development, sample production and planning for full rate production of a product line. Develop methods and processes for product development. Direct the integration of company activity with key technology partners to ensure the product conforms to performance specifications.
  • Plan and direct all phases of development of products. Serve as primary point of contact for suppliers, vendors and internal service providers.
  • Serve as primary point of contact with government representatives to facilitate product development and production.
  • Oversee engineering, testing and production of sample products to be supplied to customer for testing and review.

This role is for you if you have these skills:

  • Proven leadership and experience in effectively directing and providing high-level oversight of program administration. Excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in the interpretation of government contract requirements and the implementation process for product development.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs; both internal and external. Maintain confidentiality. Listen and get clarification, respond well to questions. Excellent phone skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, and other software programs is needed. Write clearly and informatively.
  • Strong financial skills to maintain budgets and project planning. Present numerical data effectively.

And these qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or technical field, Masters desirable but not required.
  • 10+ years of progressively complex experience in Government Procurement field with a minimum of four years management experience in procurement.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • SAP, Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
  • Great attitude and team player.
  • Successful completion of background screening process.


In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $104,080 to $156,120. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
