Your role as the Millwright:

As a Millwright at American Ordnance, you play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring that machinery and equipment are installed and maintained to the highest standards. Your responsibilities extend beyond basic repairs; you will contribute to the efficiency and reliability of our production processes, directly impacting our operational success. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Install and adjust machinery and equipment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to avoid downtime and ensure optimal functionality.
  • Rebuild and restore pumps and cylinders, identifying and resolving any mechanical issues.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings, allowing you to plan and execute work processes effectively.
  • Utilize precision measuring devices to clean and inspect presses and tooling, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Construct and repair building structures, including overhead doors and jib cranes, while collaborating with peers to achieve project goals.

We value transparency and, in line with state pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $31.50 - $33.16. Please note that this is not a guarantee of compensation, as final offers will be influenced by experience and geographic location, among other factors.
