Position As the Material Checker here’s the work you’ll do:

  • Compares information on requisitions, invoices, and shipping notices to material received or issued to verify accuracy of order.
  • Compiles and maintains inventory of material received, stocked, and issued.
  • Inspects, accepts or rejects material received.
  • Marks identifying information on material.
  • Maintains familiarity with, observes and trains others in safety, health and environmental requirements.  
  • Assures that he/she understands the necessity to continuously improve systems and processes under their control and to meet customer needs, both internally and externally.
  • Record all data associated with inventory transactions through the use of manual or automated data collection devices.
  • Accurately and legible record part numbers, quantities, cost codes and other data elements required to process inventory transactions.
  • Exhibit sufficient communication skills and judgment to interact with a broad range of customers throughout the organization.

•    Six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
•    Valid driver's license required.

 

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $26.41 - $27.80/HR. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
