Responsibilities
- Prepare and update operator procedures for shop floor. 20%
- Address daily production related issues on shop floor. 25%
- Research and design systems related to continuous improvement. 25%
- Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew. 10%
- Coordinate with external customers on shop floor related issues. 10%
- Develop and maintain process layouts for existing or new processes and equipment. 10%
KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before employees of organzation.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to: compute rate, ratio and percent, draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple duties simultaneously. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Knowledge in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, AutoCAD or other 3D Drawing/Modeling software. Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to prepare well written procedures and technical reports.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field; prefer IE or ME Required
- 2+ years Engineering experience Required
- Must possess a valid REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, which includes the gold or black star in the upper corner, indicating it is federally compliant.
- A positive attitude and the ability to collaborate with team members is essential for contributing to a cohesive work environment.
- Successful completion of a background screening process is mandated for all candidates.

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $76, 080- $114,120.
