Position Description

We’re looking for a full-time, staff Document Control Coordinator to join our Day & Zimmermann team located on-site in Middletown, Iowa.

 

Support Program-specific tasks and implement document management concepts as defined in the procedures and guidance documents. Will work with project teams and functional areas to support and facilitate the preparation and delivery schedule of submittals while ensuring contractual requirements are met. Understands and implements the document management requirement for the project and project personnel.

As the Document Control Coordinator, here’s the work you’ll do:

• Responsible for successful execution of document management activities on all assigned ePC projects, ensuring delivery of the project will meet or exceed financial, operational, quality, safety goals and customer retention for each market served

• Prepares requests and ensure relevant documentation is produced and supplied in compliance with established document control requirements. Distribute electronic, hardcopy documents and correspondence to defined recipients. Process and distribute communications and information flow such as submittals, requests for information (RFIs), engineering design documents, etc

• Ensure latest approved revision of documents is available and used by facility/project. Process documents for revision and approval. Maintain organized and consistent project-specific filing structure

• Work closely with functional areas and Project Management team for daily management of routing, revisions, approval, and filing of documents within defined timelines

• Support regular audits of document control processes and procedures ensuring quality and compliance. Track and monitor communication and documentation flow

This role is for you if you have these skills:

• Communicates with Impact- Clearly and consistently gets information across in a timely and effective manner both verbally and in writing

• Technical/Industry Expertise- Demonstrated background in Projects and/or Construction document management within the Power Industry; experience does not necessarily need to be with a contractor, although highly preferred; Strong knowledge and experience in project document management, preferably at an enterprise or multi-site level

• Experience with electronic file management systems

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and ability to multi-task And if you have these qualifications:

• Associates degree or relevant experience required

• 3+ years of relevant projects experience

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

 

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $50,320.00 - $75,480.00 This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
