We’re looking for a full-time, staff Analytical Chemist!

We’re excited to announce an opportunity for a full-time Analytical Chemist! In this pivotal role, you will perform detailed laboratory testing of a variety of samples, including environmental, quality, and safety samples in support of our facility's operations. Your expertise will drive success as you work with advanced test instrumentation and collaborate with a dynamic team to maintain our high standards of quality.

  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to analyze samples as required, ensuring efficient and accurate results.
  • Develop innovative methods and procedures as needed, leveraging both existing knowledge and referencing technical publications.
  • Process and report test data results, facilitating effective communication of findings.
  • Engage in routine maintenance of test instrumentation and equipment, crucial for operational integrity.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in testing processes within the laboratory, maintaining certifications, and attending training sessions to elevate your capabilities.
  • Support fellow scientists at the Plant and contribute to projects across various company and governmental locations.

We are looking for individuals who thrive in a collaborative laboratory environment where innovation and precision are paramount. Key skills that would enhance your candidacy include:

  • Theoretical knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques and their practical application in real-world settings.
  • Proven experience with laboratory analysis of materials, including but not limited to environmental and safety testing. Previous research experience is an asset; however, relevant university coursework may also be considered.
  • A valid driver’s license is required to facilitate travel between work sites or for specific project needs.
  • You must be able to pass required physical tests, drug screening, and a thorough background check, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

  • Excellent proficiency in IT, which is crucial for documentation, data analysis, and communication within our digital ecosystems.

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $61,680 - $92,520. Please note that this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary levels, as final offers will be influenced by various factors including experience and geographic location.
