Job Summary

The Manager, Business Development at Yoh Services LLC plays a pivotal role in expanding the company's client base within the Specialty Practices - IT & E division. This position focuses on identifying and securing new business opportunities by thoroughly researching market trends, engaging with potential clients, and building lasting professional relationships with key decision-makers. Operating remotely with a primary base in Pennsylvania, this role demands a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the evolving technology and staffing industry landscape. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving company growth, leveraging deep industry insights and exceptional interpersonal skills to connect Yoh’s services with the precise needs of prospective clients.

Joining our Philadelphia Branch Recruiting Department, you will collaborate closely with both recruiters and senior leadership to shape and execute sales strategies that reflect our commitment to excellence and innovation. This role is designed for a dynamic professional passionate about fostering sustainable business relationships and delivering measurable results in a competitive market environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to identify and cultivate new business opportunities, representing approximately 55% of the role's focus. Utilize a thorough understanding of the local and regional market to anticipate client needs, including future projects and growth trends.
  • Foster and maintain enduring client relationships, actively identifying avenues for growth within existing accounts by understanding client business models and their evolving requirements. This constitutes about 20% of the responsibilities.
  • Lead, manage, and support recruiters by providing guidance on effective recruiting methodologies, key performance metrics, and client requisition fulfillment. Serve as the primary liaison between recruiters and client stakeholders, ensuring alignment of services and client expectations, accounting for 20% of the workload.
  • Diligently document all sales activities, client interactions, and progress using the company’s CRM platform to ensure accurate reporting and data integrity, comprising around 5% of daily tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and executive leadership to align business development initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to adapt sales strategies and maintain Yoh's competitive edge.
  • Participate in networking events, industry conferences, and professional associations to promote the company’s brand and expand professional networks.

  • Sales Expertise: Mastery in tactical sales strategies, including cold-calling, lead qualification, negotiation, and closing, exhibiting a proactive and resilient approach to business development.
  • Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to build and nurture trusted professional relationships that facilitate long-term business partnerships.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint for efficient project management and collaboration; experience navigating and leveraging CRM systems for sales tracking and client relationship management is essential.
  • Leadership and Coaching: Competency in directing and mentoring recruiting teams, providing actionable feedback, and fostering an environment of continuous improvement to meet client requisitions effectively.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, interpret data, and formulate actionable insights to drive business strategies and decision-making.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic, remote work setting while maintaining strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and performance targets.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience is required to provide a strong foundational knowledge base.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven success in sales, preferably within the technology staffing or business solutions sectors, demonstrating a consistent record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in managing and collaborating with recruiting teams or cross-functional groups to support client acquisition and retention goals is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with CRM software tools and Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Willingness to engage in continuous professional development to stay current with industry trends and emerging sales techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the wage range for this role is $62,400 - $93,600. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
