Job Summary

This position is designed to support the internal customers and act as the SAP MRP master data subject matter expert for the Day & Zimmermann Munitions Group, coordinating the gathering of data for SAP master data uploading to meet and exceed site and customer expectations. Using knowledge, experience, good communication, and partnering with the MRP Systems Manager to mitigate risk and ensure successful completion of all tasks assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the organization's ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system MRP master data and parameters across all munitions plants. 50%
  • Consulting with business units to determine MRP procurement/inventory strategies to ensure data upload timing and accuracy. 25%
  • Serves as a liaison between end users and internal business units, infrastructure, or other technical staff members. 15%
  • Partnered with the MRP System Manager, serve as SME (Subject Matter Expert) for ongoing training and issue resolution. 10%

KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Expert level of SAP, MRP systems knowledge, specifically Production Planning and Materials Management modules.
  • Communication, collaboration, and teamwork to providing training and support for end-users.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Serves as a liaison between end users and internal business units, infrastructure, or other technical staff members.
  • Performing diagnostic tests and resolving issues.
  • Manage and resolve issues surrounding KPIs

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement or related fields Preferred
  • 5+ years of material planning, supply chain, SAP master data entry Required

Compensation and Benefits

Candidates may be required to satisfy additional job-related requirements, including those established and controlled by third parties, as part of the selection process.

 

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the wage range for this role is $76,640 - $114,960. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
