We’re looking for a full-time, Senior Project Manager to join our Mason & Hanger team.
As the Senior Project Manager, here’s the work you’ll do:
- Manage the most technically complex projects which requires special attention to risk management, resource management, and scope management. Communicate with project teams in a manner that promotes efficiency while ensuring members are informed of any updates, changes, etc.
- Communicate with client to obtain expectations, create deliverables and obtain client feedback
- throughout the course of the project. Build relationships with clients and end-users while managing scope creep. Work as Client relationship Manager for the customer.
- Display strong financial accumen while preparing budgets, proposals/contracts, and negotiating fee
- proposals. Manage the project labor hours and expenses in a manner that meets or exceeds budgeted net contribution.
- Coordinate and direct projects making detailed plans to accomplish goals and to facilitate the integration of technical activities such as architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, plumbing, fire protection and civil design.
- Conduct in-house meetings with project teams to ensure communication within project teams.
- Conduct presentations to outline project to client and staff; conduct on-going project meetings to ensure communication within the team.
This role is for you if you have these skills:
- Extensive knowledge of practical application of engineering science and technology as it applies to the design of building including architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, building sciences, sustainability and plumbing systems. Knowledge of design techniques and tools in the production of technical
- plans, drawings, and computer skills.
- Strong Management and People skills. Ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues. Excellent oral/written communication skills. Able to multi-task and provide leadership. Mentoring/Coaching skills.
- Knowledge of the rules and regulations that govern a particular market segment such as Federal work, State Department work, Military or municipal work. Knowledge of project management tools including pert charts and gantt charts
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Organizational savvy, attention to details, proven track record of successful and quality performance. Strong customer performance ratings.
And if you have these qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Architecture
- 15+ years of experience in industry
- PMP highly preferred (Required w/ 20 years experience if no license)
- Professional Engineer license (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) (or additional 5+ years exp)
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance required.
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $124,080 – $186,120. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
