Job Summary
Primarily responsible for leading and motivating a multi-disciplines team of engineers and/or architects whose goal is to serve our clients and develop workable solutions to meet our client's needs. Project Managers are responsible for several projects concurrently,, the number of projects determined by the size and complexity of each project. In addition to project execution responsibilities, the Project Manager is expected to actively support business development efforts. This includes cultivating client relationships, identifying new opportunities with existing and prospective clients, supporting capture strategy, and contributing to proposal development to drive revenue growth within the Mason & Hanger Group.
This role can be remote or in office hybrid in Lexington, KY Jacksonville FL or Huntsville AL.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with client to obtain expectations, create service deliverables and obtain client feedback throughout the course of the project.
- Communicate with project teams to ensure members are informed of any updates, changes and letting teams know if they are on track with milestones.
- Prepare budgets, proposals and contracts, and direct the negotiation of contract fees.
- Coordinate and direct projects making detailed plans to accomplish goals and to facilitate the integration of technical activities such as architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, plumbing, fire protection and civil design.
- Conduct in-house meetings with project teams to ensure communication within project teams.
- Conduct presentations to outline project to client and staff; conduct on-going project meetings to ensure communication within the team.
KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Extensive knowledge of practical application of engineering science and technology as it applies to the design of building including architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, building sciences, sustainability and plumbing systems.
- Knowledge of design techniques and tools involved in the production of technical plans, drawings and computer models.
- Knowledge of the rules and regulations hat govern a particular market segment such as Federal work, State Department work, Military or municipal work.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, prodution methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Knowledge of project management tools including pert charts and gantt charts
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Engineering/Architecture/Business Management Required
- 5+ years of experience in industry Required
- Professional Engineer (PE) License or Architect Certification required
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the hourly pay range for this role is $104,480- $156,720. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
