Position Description

We are looking for a full-time staff, Recruiter to join our Day & Zimmermann team.

 

This position works closely with the Lead Recruiter to support the Recruiting department in its operations to meet organizational needs and business objectives of Maintenance & Construction - Field Non-Manual and Project Recruiting. The Recruiter performs general recruiting responsibilities including advertising positions, proactive sourcing to build pipelines in target markets, reviewing/clearing candidates, scheduling interviews and gathering feedback, and completing candidate post-offer/pre-employment activities. Recruiter is responsible for building internal customer relationships to tailor recruiting efforts to meet specific needs.

As the Recruiter, here’s the work you’ll do:

• Executes full life cycle recruitment for Field Non-Manual and Projects hires including: sourcing/identifying leads, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and submission of resumes/candidates for approval as required. Fills various types on positions with awareness of project deadlines and market specific skillsets. Responsible for following all policies and guidelines and meets customer specific. Works directly with internal customer base. Operates with limited input from Manager

• Maintains a strong knowledge and understanding the markets we serve: Industrial, Government, Renewables, Nuclear and Fossil Ensures candidates meet qualification requirements by understanding resume information submitted by candidate. Recognizes specialty information on resumes that help with qualifications and placement

• Maintains an active pipeline of qualified talent for each of the markets that we serve through proactive sourcing efforts targeting specific industries, skillsets and competition. Conducts phone screens and builds relationships with prospective candidates. Maintains active candidate profiles and updated tearsheets for talent within the Bullhorn system

• Communicates/collaborates with peers by sharing recruiting best practices and providing accurate, thorough documentation. Maintains ongoing relationship with candidates including: providing feedback from hiring manager and resolving problems during the recruiting process/job duration. Communicates hiring information to Recruiting Coordinator to initate the Onboarding and Background Screening process when applicable. Communicates with Hiring Manager on status of new hire acceptance and start date to ensure timely ordering of equipment and successful first day

• Creates and maintain requisitions and assignments in Bullhorn database. Tracks staffing process and documentation, including recording of all contacts and status of resume submittal

This role is for you if you have these skills:

• Experienced in computer applications, specifically Microsoft Office. Ability to type with accuracy and ease

• Strong verbal and written communications skills

• Develop key relationships with Hiring managers, Human Resources, Market Sector Leaders, Functional Leaders, Field Accounting Managers Strong customer service and ability to work with multiple stakeholders

• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks

• Knowledge of recruiting for Professional skill sets in various industries

And if you have these qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED. Some college coursework preferred

• Minimum 5 years of recruiting experience in industry

 

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $79,040 - $118,560. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
