Position Description

We’re looking for a full-time Analyst, Prevailing Wage to join our Day & Zimmermann team.

 

 

Apply data mining and data modeling to abstract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured data sets. Interpret and report data findings to project teams using Day & Zimmermann tools and technology. Upload payroll reports and analyze differences between amounts paid to employees and the amounts legally required to be paid based on Prevailing Wage laws. Research, monitor and ensure compliance for Day & Zimmermann, as well as our subcontractors to ensure state and federal laws governing prevailing wage are followed.

As the Analyst, Prevailing Wage, here’s the work you’ll do:

• Provide timely and accurate reports to teams. Generate, format, and analyze reports out of SAP, and other software applications

• Analyze, reconcile and troubleshoot data using certified payroll reporting errors. Enter data via manual entry or upload to various software applications (LCP Tracker etc.). Ensure applicable federal and state prevailing wage laws are properly applied. Ensure timely submission of all prevailing wage documentation

• Effectively communicate any discrepancies and ensure revisions are submitted

• Work with subcontractors to set up and maintain weekly submissions

• Support and participate in collaboration activities to promote and implement continuous process improvement

This role is for you if you have these skills:

• Experience with prevailing wage payroll laws, regulations, and Davis Bacon Acts. Ability to learn, interpret, and follow payroll laws, regulations, and procedures

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience using advanced functions in Excel. Prefer experience with LCP Tracker and SAP or similar software technologies

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze data and recognize discrepancies. Strong verbal and written communication skills; highly motivated and self-directed; initiative and a sense of urgency to get things done. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to use logic and reasoning to analyze and identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems

• Excellent organization and time management skills; ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish assigned work. Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy with minimal supervision in a high-volume environment

• Excellent customer service and collaboration skills; ability to connect and build relationships with others inside and outside the organization.

And if you have these qualifications:

• BA or related experience

• 5 – 8 Years

• SAP or another ERP systems knowledge preferred

 

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $66,160 - $99,240. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
