Project Management Assistant

 

We’re looking for a full-time, Administrative Assistant to join our Mason & Hanger team hybrid located in Glen Allen, VA.

As the Administrative Assistant here’s the work you’ll do:

  • Under the direction of the Program Manager, this position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Project Managers at Mason & Hanger. This position will also be responsible for preparing project paperwork on an as-needed basis.
  • Responsible for administrative functions such as word processing for Project Managers on correspondence and project paperwork. Copies and distribution of printed materials for meetings.
  • Assist Project Managers with design submittals to clients and other design partners as directed.
  • Maintain project files and performs project file archival.
  • Assist Project Managers with QA/QC reviews for submittals.
  • Attend when requested meetings and project kick-offs. Documents meetings and assists with the meeting preparation. Complying with data protection principles while handling personal, protected and / or Covered Defense Information on behalf of Day & Zimmermann. Data Handlers should be trained to follow documented policies, standard operating procedures and secure practices associated with protecting trusted employee and customer data.

This role is for you if you have these skills:

  • Knowledge of Architectural and Engineering Industry and terms commonly utilized.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software packages.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • An understanding of data privacy, information security and policy compliance

And if you have these qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years relevant administrative experience
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance.
  • Great attitude and team player.
  • Successful completion of background screening process.
  • Some travel may be required.


In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $46,320 – $69,480. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
