We are looking for a full time, Director of Ammunition Logistics to join our SOC Team!
As a Director of Ammunition Logistics, here's the work you will do:
- Works with the Deputy General Manager to establish goals and objectives for the Directorate. Develops and maintains policies relating to the Supply Depot Operations to ensure compliance with contractual requirements. Ensures timely and accurate submission of all CDRL's, billing and proposals for SDO.
- Responsible for direction of all inventory space allocation and utilization, stock control, accountability, traffic and commercial transportation activities for wholesale supplies consisting of ammunition items at the Hawthorne Army Depot. Ensures on time receipt and issue standards are met/exceeded.
- Provides input into safety, environmental and security requirements for Supply Depot Operations. Ensures compliance with Company and governmental guidelines and regulations pertaining to the responsibilities of this position. Ensures availability of resources assigned and/or allocated to Supply Depot Operations for the execution of the mission, functions and contractual requirements.
- Provides oversight, mentoring, and leadership within the guidelines of the Defense Industry Initiative, (Ethics) and Diversity programs.
- Develops strategic plans and mapping related to Supply Depot Operations for SOC and the Hawthorne Army Depot. Performs other duties of the same or lower level of difficulty as assigned and may be assigned occasional duties of a higher level of difficulty, as needed.
- Reports potential or known safety or environmental hazards to the appropriate department and/or personnel. Cooperate during company investigations and uphold company Code of Ethics
This role is for you if you have these skills:
- High level of knowledge and ability to develop and maintain Company policy in all areas of Supply Depot Operations to ensure compliance with the contractual requirements.
- High degree of knowledge of safety, environmental, security, contractual and regulatory requirements for Supply Depot Operations.
- Knowledge and ability to do strategic planning and mapping related to Supply Depot Operations for SOC and the Hawthorne Army Depot.
- Research and have the foresight to properly staff for anticipated or projected workloads while adhering to the governing PWS and contractual requirements and must be able to prepare bid and pricing information.
- Communicate in an effective and professional manner, in English, using all std. forms of business communication. Must possess sufficient computer hardware and software proficinecy to be able to perform all job duties in a timely, professional and effective manner.
And these qualifications:
- Minimum of High School diploma or Equivalent required. B.S. /B.A. in a technical discipline, Management or related field required. (An equivalent combination of formal college/university education and directly related job experience may be considered.)
- Minimum of ten (10) years experience in Munitions and Logistics and/or Supply Depot Operations required. Executive Management level experience highly desirable. Government contracting experience highly desirable.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all certifications as required by SOC's Master Training Plan.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid State of Nevada drivers license. Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of government security clearance as well as a clearance through the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $118,000 - $177,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
