Position Description

We’re looking for a full-time, staff Regional Manager, Field Accounting to join our Day & Zimmermann team.

 

Responsible for oversight, direction and troubleshooting issues for all field-based transactional accounting functions for multiple client contracts including onboarding, timekeeping, payroll, billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, union fringe remittance reports (where applicable) and all office adminstration activities. Responsible for creating and implementing specialized client reporting requirements. Evaluates, develops and maintains prodecures to strengthen internal controls and participates in client audits.

As the Regional Manager, Field Accounting here’s the work you’ll do:

• Orchestrating the start up of new project sites and demobilization. Collaborates with operations leaders and Field Accounting Managers to ensure contractual terms and conditions relating to all financial activity is followed. Directs the planning of Accounting support resources for responsible client contract(s)

• Provides management guidance and support to Field Accounting Managers for multi-site contracts related to all accounting services activities; supports client accounting departments and Field Accounting Managers as required; and audits, reports and trouble shoots accounts receivable issues

• Provides direction related to site specific procedures related to payroll, billing and In-processing (on-boarding) and supports the Temp Help interface with SAP if appropriate. Oversees and trouble shoots all field accounting processes when necessary

• Interface with Home Office and Day & Zimmermann Corporate Accounting to ensure control and integrity of field accounting and administrative processes

• Complete staff management responsibilities for Project Payroll Accounting Services Team including hiring, development and performance management. Manages different personalities and at times resolves conflicts or issues within the team

• Travel to multiple sites to manage the day to day functions during mobilization efforts and emergency situations. Other duties as assigned by Director, Field Accounting Services

This role is for you if you have these skills:

• Ability to create and maintain relationships with clients and employees as well as mentor direct reports to have those same skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledge of general accounting functions and GAAP. Ability to apply concrete financial analysis concepts beyond simple adherence to detailed procedures and instructions, recommending solutions to unique issues

• Knowledge of union craft wage and benefit agreements for applicable clients/contracts

• Highly organized with the ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple priorities in a high volume environment

• Strong detail orientation and ability to manage to and meet deadlines. Proficiency in software - MS Office Suite

And if you have these qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business and/or related field project accounting experience preferred

• Minimum 8 years experience as a Supervisor, Project Field Accounting or related professional / supervisory experience in related field preferred

• Ability to obtain and maintain nuclear site priviledges as required

• SAP or another ERP systems knowledge required

• Ability to travel to various locations >50%

 

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $104,080 - $156,120. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
