We are looking for a Electrical QC Manager to join our Day & Zimmermann team!

As an Electrical Quality Control Manager, here's the work you will do:

 

Provide management and oversight for the implementation of the company Quality control program and provide technical support to site teams and projects. Support projects and site activities to ensure compliance with Quality Procedures, Client specifications and Industry Codes & Standards. Supports proposal efforts for new opportunities. Occasional support to QC and Lead Auditor during project or site specific audits.

 

This role is for you if you have these skills: 

  • Provide direction and oversight of QC Program for all M&M Contracts and Project groups (Fossil, Industrial, Nuclear, DOE, and Special Projects)
  • Support proposal efforts with business units and project organizations assuring quality requirements are detailed and incorporated into execution planning.
  • Advises senior quality management and business unit managers of quality related deficiencies, audit findings, regulatory and third party inspection issues.  Provides recommended resolution of the identified quality issues.
  • Ensure project compliance with QC Manuals and procedures, client specifications and industry standards.
  • Coordinates activities to ensure that Quality Program budgets, schedules and priorities are met.
  • Support QA and Lead Auditor when site audits are scheduled.

  • Effective verbal communication and report writing skills
  • Working knowledge of Electrical Industrial Codes and Standards
  • Good leadership capabilities to lead quality initiatives to successful completion
  • Basic knowledge of applicable software to compile quality process data.  Familiar with the tools, concepts and methodologies of quality managemen

 

And these Qualifications

  • 10+ years     Electrical Journeyman or Industrial Electrician
  • Deep working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and other electrical standards. Understanding of and experience in detailed review of proposal documents and drawings including development of project quality planning. Understanding and experience in development and management of quality programs and procedures.
  • 5+ Years    Electrical Supervisor with Quality Control Related Experience
  • Master Electrician OR Journeyman Electrician licenses preferre

 

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $124,080 - $186,120. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
